Lobby League: Women Take Centre Stage on FC 25
This past weekend saw the Lobby League Powered by Sky Broadband return with an all-women's tournament on FC 25, shining a spotlight on the incredible talent and competitiveness within the women’s football esports community.
Four star-studded duos, each captained by a renowned figure in the scene, battled it out in a two-legged format, with each teammate playing one leg per tie. After Team Harrie Silver won the opening Lobby League tournament on Fortnite, her opposing Team Captains were keen to pull one back.
The Line-Up:
Team Sunpi: Guild pro player and Women’s Esports Finals winner FUTHeda & Football & gaming content creator Sara Guzo
Team Ebonix: Content creator and presenter Alia Harvey & FC creator nunurage
Team Cadaea: Streamer and creator gwenldn & first eLioness and Women’s Esports Finals runner-up Lisa Manley
Team Harrie Silver: Commonwealth Esports Championships gold medallist Emzii & FC streamer and creator JadieLou92
Whilst the players competed online, the show was broadcast live from the Sky Guild Gaming Centre in London, presented by Nina-Jade Paul with Team Captains Ebonix and Cadaea cheering their teams on. We also had Anita Abayomi and Mina Ibrahim calling the action as our casters from the Ginx TV studio.
